Vintage McCoy Pottery Early American Frontier Family Cookie Jar. This cookie jar has no chips, breaks, or cracks. One side of the jar has a covered wagon, or Conestoga wagon scene.  The other side has a pioneer family cooking by the fire in their log cabin, with a spinning wheel and ash pail, while the man seems to be holding a duck or goose. It does have some surface crazing from age. The painted on the "Cookies" label on the jar is in excellent shape.  This vintage cookie jar made in the USA is a great addition to any collection or as functional decor in the kitchen.  The inside is clean and fully glazed with some crazing. The base shows wear that is appropriate for its age.
