This is a very RARE copy of the 1935 Patent Pending Monopoly game. This is after they trademarked the game and applied for the US Patent but had yet to receive a patent number. This game is nearly complete and in amazing condition! It is 89 years old. 

Features of this set: 

This contains the very rare third variation of the TRADEMARK rules. They had some left over from the trademark only games and put them in the first sets of the PATENT PENDING games. These are VERY RARE

The box has all it original inserts and is the five slot box that is part of the first edition of the patent pending boxes. RARE

This box has the 1935 DARROW type 2 money. There are 30-ones, 48-fives, 31-tens, 22-twenties, 28-fifties, 30-one hundreds, 6-five hundreds. There are no torn bills but some do have staining. 

The board that comes with states patent pending on it and there are no property values written on the board. RARE

There are five tokens. It is MISSING the For a Good Girl Thimble. It does however have the short war ship, the civil war cannon, the hat with a hole, the boot, and the iron. These are made with a zinc alloy called zamak and earned a dark oxidization over time from the impurities in the metal. These impurities were eliminated by the late thirties making these piece quite RARE

There are 29 green houses and 10 red hotels. The houses do have some signs of age on them. Places where the paint has has been flecked away. This does include the early lower profile hotels

The community chest and chance cards are blank on the back and are text only, part of the rare patent pending sets. 

Property cards are blank on the back as well.
