AE3 2.35gm 18mm. Rome Mint, Struck c. 330 - 331 AD during the reign of Constantine the Great.


Obverse: FL IVL CONSTANTIVS NOB C, Constantius II laureate, cuirassed bust right seen from the front--attractive artistic 3/4 bust of unusual type--quite a massive chest.

Reverse: GLORIA EXERCITVS Two soldiers helmeted, each holding spear and shield, two military standards--with three badges and surmounted by a banner--between; Rome mintmark RBT in exergue.

Ref. RIC VII Rome 337, R1 (Rare).

Condition: aXF-XF  olive patina.
