Vintage T.J. Hooker, Swan
Quartering Carving Co., Crystal Lake, IL., McHenry County hand carved
wooden Swan decoy. Measures approximately 18” long x 13.75” tall x 7”
wide across back. Exhibits old White paint, glass eyes and a front
anchoring hook. I do not know if this was ever used or just displayed as
there are no signs of water damage or warping. Impressed Swan
Quartering Carving Co. logo on bottom. In very good condition but does
show a long scratch and chips on back. Chips may be original to piece of
wood carved. Neck joint is stable. A great piece of Americana history.As always, I want my customers to be pleased with their purchases and service.
