This is a very clean The Commemorative Fountain Pen is produced from a solid brass rod with a 23k gold overlay. It is intricately engraved with a beautiful scrolled pattern on the cap and barrel.

The writing instrument features an 18k two-tone gold nib and uses a lever filling mechanism. Each limited edition number is engraved underneath the lever filling mechanism. Ours is #5417/6000.

This W.A. Sheaffer Commemorative  pen and pen Holder, the chest the 1908 patent drawing of the lever-fill mechanism, etched into a lacquered brass plate. Nib: MEDIUM - 18k Sheaffer Two-tone LE Ornately Engraved Nib Engraved: Sheaffer 18k 750 Made in USA ("M" engraved on nib section) Fill: Side-lever fill (water tested - fully working) Length closed: 5.25" Pen is in beautiful very gently used condition.

There are no nicks, no dings, no dents, no cracks, no engravings or anything of the sort. Pen has no flaws - very nice working condition.

The cap secures to the barrel via a 3/4 threaded turn. Pen is ready to fill and use.

The pen is in excellent pre-owned condition, hardly seems to be used, no personal engraving, dents, dings, scratches.
