This lovey is 12 x 12 inches, which is smaller than some other loveys.  The smaller size might be good for smaller babies, and for babies who are just learning to walk, as there's less of a tripping hazard. 

For babies who love to feel different textures, this lovey is sure to please.  The top side of the lovey has a nice nubbed texture, and the bottom side has a satin texture.
