Each CD was pressed directly from the original studio master session tapes ; the purest source of musical information and engineered to produce the finest CD sound quality available.

Every compact disc delivers the music to you with all the depth, dynamics, and richness of the live recording session.  We invite you to hear the three-dimensional quality of the music just as the artist intended for it to sound.

The proprietary mastering technology extracts and transparently stores more musical information from the original master tapes than any other method in existence.

For the discriminating listener, the results include: a wider range of frequencies, increased depth and room dimension cues, clarity, and separation of instruments.

The technology substantially decreases characteristics such as hardness and glare bringing the sound of CD even closer to the warmth and openess of analogue.

Why Buy 24K Gold CDs? Aluminum particles are rough, resulting in pits and irregularities on the playing surface. Gold particles are uniform and have a constant rate of reflection giving an even, reproductive sound quality. Also, 24K Gold CDs will not oxidize or tarnish and will last for years longer than traditional aluminum

MFSL'S WHITE TRASH - Edgar Winter wasn't one to follow in older brother Johnny's footsteps - or anyone else's. He was a musician of many instruments, vocal ranges and musical styles. WHITE TRASH IS CONSIDERED A CLASSIC, LANDMARK RECORDING BY The All Music Guide To Rock.

This 4-Diamond-rated release was Edgar's second album in 1971 by Rick Derringer for Epic Records.

WHITE TRASH rocks with a hot backing band which includes horns, a string section and gospel singers to boot. Derringer plays guitar on two of the songs and Johnny Winter slings guitar on I'VE GOT NEWS FOR YOU. This is unhinged Blues Rock at its best with the radio hit - Keep On Playing That Rock n Roll. MofI brings out the warmth, spectral balance and individual musical instruments and vocals like never before. Get ready to boogie!

MFSL SEALED - Johnny Winter Second Winter. This great Blues Rocker really established his reputation with Second Winter. He plays Classic Rock n Roll in a new Blues Fusion style.

Johnny Winter is the real deal, blues wise. Few guitar players have been able to match his raw energy. Second Winter was released in 1969 on Columbia Records. It was originally released as a three sided LP to use all the songs they recorded and to have them play as loudly and they wanted! The fourth side was left un cut. Brother Edgar covers keyboard and alto sax duties throughout the record. Bassist Tommy Shannon later became a member of Stevie Ray Vaughans Double Trouble. His tonality is instantly recognizable. Second Winter is not a slickly produced recording, but, raw in a pure Johnny Winter style. You will notice significant improvements in MoFis version over the aluminum CD. Winters slide guitar playing on Dylan highway 61 Revisited is unbelievable incredible. And his version of Chuck Berrys Johnny B. Goode aint too shabby, either! This is blues shouting and rip snorting in your face. This is blues power.

Legacy Edition comes in Digipak with Plastic Slip-Case and includes 24 page booklet

This work is some of the most progressive sounds ever released by "The Winter Brothers". When it was first released on Vinyl LP it was a three sided album (side four was blank. The producer had too much music for a single album, but not enough to fill four sides. While trying to decide which songs to drop (to fit on to one LP), they just said, "there is nothing that NEEDS to be dropped as each song was outstanding". The band was gone from the studio so they couldn't get any more tracks. Ultimately it was decided to release every tune recorded and leave side four blank. I owned the original LP set and I'm glad that they used all of the material. The result was (in my opinion), the very best collaboration ever released by Johnny and Edgar together. You will not be disappointed!!

Now about this Legacy addition:

You'll get all of the above on disc one here (see above). On this editions disc two...Break out Johnny, Edgar and Johnny's fabled band with Tommy Shannon and Uncle John Turner. This is the tape from Royal Albert Hall recorded LIVE in April 1970. The brother's kick A$$ together on vocals and there is the first EVER recording of Edgars' hit Frankenstein. Not surprising to anyone who knows, but this (IMHO) is the best version. It includes a long drum solo, Johnny's hot guitar licks and Edgar plays the STANDARD keyboards. For me this is closer to what Edgar's Entrance CD and White Trash sounds...all and all BETTER! Edgar also reprises a great version of his hit, Tobacco Road.

This offering is now my favorite Johnny & Edgar's best together. Though this is a bit pricey, I wouldn't sell my copy for anything! It was one of my first added to my I-Pod.

Buy it, play it...and I promise if you are a Winter fan....you'll love it too!!!!!
