A great little adapter cable that allows you to connect any RGB-enabled device to your Amstrad CTM-644 colour monitor.
Compatible with the following monitor:
- Amstrad CTM-644 colour monitor
Suitable for connecting devices such as:
- Retro computer systems: Amiga, Spectrum, Atari ST (all require RGB scart lead to connect - not supplied)
- DVD Players
- Sky/Freeview boxes
- Any other RGB device and a suitable RGB scart lead
- Please remember: only RGB devices will work - for example the Commodore 64 will not work as it has no RGB output)
The Amstrad CTM-644 colour monitor was produced to connect to the Amstrad CPC 6128 and Amstrad CPC 464 computer systems. In doing so, Amstrad made proprietary video inputs on the monitors so it wasn't easy to connect any other device - which was a shame because they are a great little CRT monitor - ideal for retro gaming.
Our adapter cable makes it easy to connect any RGB device to the Amstrad CTM 644 monitor, by providing a scart socket and left and right audio outputs via phono sockets to connect to an external amplifier or set of speakers. If you need suitable RGB scart cables to connect your retro computer via this adapter, these are available separately from our eBay store.
Specification:
- Connector A: 21 Pin scart Socket
- Connector B: 6 pin DIN socket
- Connector C: 2 x phono sockets (audio output)
- Brand-new supplied in bag
