Absinthe is the most mythical of all drinks. It tastes better every time one drinks it. It has a taste like mild Pernod with a hint of Wormwood. The pleasant, slightly bitter after-taste is easily remembered.
Absinthe was the favourite drink of Picasso, Oscar Wilde, Vincent van Gogh, Gaugin and Cezanne, and also very popular with the artistic set in Paris in the 1800s.
How to make absinthe alcohol using these essences. Add bottle of essence to required amount of spirit (40-70%abv) and mix. For a smoother Absinthe add 50-75g of granulated sugar to half a bottle of your spirit and shake until dissolved then top up with spirit and again mix. It is reccommended that the spirit you use is around 50-55% to enable the oils to dissolve fully.

Absinthe CLASSIC: The taste is strong and powerful and the wormwood, fennel, aniseed and star aniseed are the strongest of the flavours in the very well balanced classic Absinthe. This is real Absinthe. This essence makes one 750ml bottle of Absinthe with a thujone content of 35mg. Mix with 60-70% abv neutral spirit for best effect. You can use 40-50% abv vodka but stronger alcohol content is preffered to enable the herb oils to fully dissolve. Colour is green.
Absinthe EUCALYPTUS: This essence contains all the main ingredients of Absinthe - aniseed, star anise oils and wormwood oil - with a whole new taste and experience reflecting its beautiful green colour similar to the Absinthe Classic. Natural herbs and herb oils balanced to perfection with the Eucalyptus oil makes this Absinthe taste extremely satisfying if you enjoy both Absinthe and the taste of Eucalyptus. A very different absinth with a thujone content of 35mg.
Absinthe GOLD: Absinthe Gold contains all main ingredients of Absinthe - aniseed, star anise oils and wormwood oil - with a whole new taste and experience reflecting its beautiful gold colour. Mixed with powerful natural herbs and herb oils makes Absinthe Gold a refreshing experience with a whole new enjoyment very different from the classic Absinthes. Has a thujone content of 35mg.
Absinthe ORANGE: Absinthe orange, probably the first and only in the world, is a classic Absinthe. Real orange oils and orange flavors are added to bring fruitiness to the herbs. The color of orange absinthe is "poisonous orange". This will Louche very easily because there is orange oil on top of the oils from wormwood, aniseed, fennel and star anise. Has a thujone content of 35mg.
