FLEXIBLE CHROME-LIKE COVERING

CABLE NEEDS TO BE DISCONNECTED ON ONE END TO INSTALL

Cut CABLE WRAP to length with a soldering gun.  The heat seals it, preventing fraying. Do not cut with scissors, as it will frazzle.

The CABLE WRAP is like a Chinese puzzle:  Push it together and it gets big enough to fit over the cable end.

Pull the trim over the top end of your cable.

Run it all the way to the bottom end of cable, and use shrink-wrap to hold the bottom end tightly.

Then pull the trim tight, to ‘shrink’ it neatly around the cable.

Then shrink-wrap the top end.  (shrink-wrap included)

NOTE

Photos show MEDIUM SIZE CABLE WRAP.

Photos show different colored pencils inserted into the CABLE WRAP.

The more the CABLE WRAP has to stretch

to fit the cable, the more color shows through.

The last photo shows the wrap stretched on

to the end of a 'Sharpie', which

is 11.5mm (7/16") diameter.

THIS IS NOT

CHROMED

BRAIDED STAINLESS STEEL

THIS IS A FLEXIBLE PLASTIC PRODUCT

It is 'expandable closed link' like a 'Chinese Finger Trap'.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

I had a question asking if it damaged painted parts.

I installed the chrome wrap onto a clutch cable, and rubbed it HARD on a Harley tank.

After 5 minutes of hard rubbing, it had not made a mark in the paint.

It would take a long, long time of rubbing on a painted part to do any real damage.

But I have to protect myself here, and say, "even though it's plastic, it may eventually damage a painted part".

We use the stuff on our cables and wiring on most of our custom and special builds.

It is fantastic stuff....... beautiful..... and basically non-damaging.

A dollar will buy a sample of this product. See eBay item 221350149249.

Thank you all for your interest.  Chuck at Zap Cycle.
