The Germans captured large amounts of Soviet armor and light vehicles during the initial phase of Operation Barbarossa, including the BA64 armored car. As far as the German army was concerned, the BA64 was not suitable for frontline duty due to its light armor and poor armament, but was very useful for convoy protection duties, airfield security and in the anti-partisan role. This version comes in a German field grey splash of paint and a half commander figure who can be removed if desired.  The other figures pictured are shown only for scale and are not included. Production is limited to 100 pieces.  Winning bidder to pay actual postage plus $1 for careful priority shipping/handling with insurance at the buyer's option & expense. (DUE TO INCREASING COSTS FOR OVERSEAS SHIPMENTS THERE WILL BE A $3 HANDLING CHARGE FOR INTERNATIONAL TRANSACTIONS. LARGER SHIPMENTS PAID THROUGH PAYPAL TO UNCONFIRMED ADDRESSES MAY REQUIRE POSTAL INSURANCE AND DELIVERY CONFIRMATION AT THE BUYERS EXPENSE.) If you want to know postage costs before bidding email me your zip code and I will let you know. Or after the auction closes I will contact you for your zip code so I can figure postage costs prior to payment. I have mailed over 10000 lots and have never had a problem. Adequate packing and attention to detail costs a little but it's worth it.  I do combine shipping on multiple items.
