ITEM DESCRIPTION
Item Description
Up for your consideration is a superb pair of early 20th C. Chinese "High" cloisonne vases, c. 1920s. These vases are often referred to as "high cloisonne", as they are hand-crafted by the top artisans as artistic statements, rather than those produced in quantity for the export market. These vases/ginger jars are a "true" pair, near mirror images of one another, and have a floral decoration, amidst a vast green background. The metal work is superb, as is evidenced by the precise repeated pattern in the green ground. The vases are very heavy for their size, and are either brass or bronze based.
The urns are in excellent condition, free of chips, cracks, or damage to the enamel. The lids fit perfectly, and are also undamaged. They rest on a pair of wooden bases which are newer additions.
Measurements
The lidded urns measures approximately 10" tall, and 5 3/8" in diameter (11" with the wooded stand).

Often this requires having custom made packaging from an outside service, or the use of 3rd party insurance (i.e. not from UPS or FedEx who are notorious for not paying claims). These issues can be resolved, but require the use of a professional packing service, and this can add several days to the shipment. If this is an issue, please notify me, as most items are shipped much sooner (especially if I can pack the item myself). However, please be aware that when making a purchase, there is a possibility that I will need to outsource the packaging. I do guarantee that it will be shipped (from our end) within 10 days.
