There are numerous attractive illustrations throughout the volumes.

These would prove excellent for the home school. There are many fine Christian hymns and poems in the Higher Life section, and Patriotic pieces in the National Spirit section. All in all, you would be hard pressed to find a finer collection of poetry, or a better format for introducing your children to the joys of poetry.

A nice addition for your poetry collection!

Condition: There is a very slight bump to the lower ffront corner of volume 1, otherwise these books are in like new condition with solid bindings and clean pages, no names or marks, no evidence of ever having been read.
