We have had many requests for this so here you go - the mono-band HF Whip antenna, tuned for 60m 5MHz band.

 

• Height of the antenna 2.4m approx.
• Power handling 250W
  
• All resonators are sturdy fibreglass construction an are stainless steel.
• Field tunable for lowest VSWR, twin stainless grub screw whip holder and standard 3/8" thread stud fitting. 

The antenna you can see in the picture is the 20m version which we have now put onto a 3/8 magmount and are using the air-conditioning cage on the Rocket Radio Letchworth shop as a ground plane. We get QSOs all around the world including Japan on it.

If you are not familiar with the 5MHz 60 meter band, this is becoming very popular and you can use it if you are a full UK amateur license holder

The 5MHz band is also used by Military and Military Cadet radio stations.
