This lovely pattern has both a crochet and knitting option. For the crochet enthusiast you have a crochet shawl (left) and for the knitters you have a shawl (right) and sweet pram and cot cover (centre) which is sized by the number of motifs used. In all a beautiful pattern.

MEASUREMENTS- 

Crochet Shawl- 45 inches square

Knitted Shawl-  46 inches square

Pram cover, knitted-  30" x 20"

Cot cover, knitted- 30" x 20"

MATERIALS: 

Crochet shawl- 3-ply wool; 1 No.4.00 (8) crochet hook or the size required to give the correct tension 

Knitted shawl- 4-ply or QK; 1 pair No. 8 needles or the size required to give the correct tension 

Pram cover & Cot cover- chunky wool; 1 pair No.3 needles or the size required to give the correct tension; 1 spare needle with points at each end. 

TENSION:

Crochet shawl- 3 patterns to 4 inches on No. 4.00 (8) hook or size required to give correct tension.

Knitted shawl- 8 sts. to 2" measured over centre piece on No.8 needles or the size required to give the correct tension. 

Pram & Cot cover- Each motif to measure approx. 6 inches in length, 5 inch in width on No.3 needles or the size required to give the correct tension.
