The best fit will be if you are mid way between the measurment range for each size. If you are closer to either end, it will be tighter or looser. WASHING - Most items will hold up to gentle machine washing, as long as you don't wash with other heavy items. BUT, they will last longer if you just give them a hand wash and hang to dry. THINGS TO NOTE: No dryer for shiny items. Red items (and sometimes other bright colors) are best washed alone in case the dye bleeds. Always hand wash SILK!
