Just discovered, Hendrickson's vast body of work from his estate includes all his original photographs ~ from 8x10 to 10 x 13 inches. These originals were reproduced to make his sepia-tone prints ~ the prints that one finds so often for sale. 

This photo is one of his rare originals and includes his signature optical texturing, hand-drawn alterations, deckle edge, and autograph. Each original is sure to increase in value & demand over time.

The nostalgic sepia-tone prints of Rolland Hendrickson were a staple in thousands of American homes in the 1960s and 70s. His western period costume portraits and nudes were often displayed in weathered pine frames and hung conspicuously for house guests to admire. His images captured a light-hearted view of American life only surpassed by the likes of Norman Rockwell.
