This listing is for a new handmade 46 x 17" Snowman Family Christmas, Beaded, Embroidered & Appliqued Wool Table Runner.
This is a hand stitched wool Christmas table runner that measures approximately 47" long (3-3/4 feet) and 17" wide.
Each table runner is all handmade so each one is slightly different from the next.
This wonderful Christmas scene with amazing detail is pieced from wool flannel and felt with embroidery floss and tiny colored glass beads in multi-colors on a deep sea blue background. The back of the table runner is black cotton blend fabric. The whip stitching around the outer edge is in cherry red. The outer edge is slightly irregular since they are hand cut and stitched.
Snowmen of all sizes, snowflakes, Christmas Trees, Red Cardinal, Bird Houses, Gingerbread men, Candy Canes, Snowmen, Stars, Hearts, Christmas Stockings, Wrapped Presents... yes, even the family Cat & Dog... it's all there!
This can be carefully hand spot washed with cold water and laid flat to dry, although dry cleaning is recommended.
There is polyester fiber fill behind some of the appliques to add dimension. Flat appliques are secured with fabric adhesive then stitched in place. The outer edges are also hand stitched. The beaded hand work and embroidery are absolutely stunning!
This table runner is absolutely gorgeous! It will be a family treasure decade after decade!
