1985-1986 Ford Full-Size Pickup 19 gallon DIESEL ENGINE side, midship, front metal fuel tank****(OEM metal style - approx. 56" long) sending unit. Includes a new lock ring and O-ring.
*This unit will work with the carbureted (non-fuel injected/no fuel pump in the tank) gas engines in 1985 & 1986 as long as the existing sending unit has the 2 pin wire connection shown in picture # 2. Ford's big introduction of the fuel injected engine began in 1985 so verify your engine setup before ordering this unit.
**This unit will NOT work properly in the 1987 or newer Ford Full-Size pickups with the a diesel engine. In 1987, Ford flipped and extended the Ohm range so this sending unit will read full when empty and empty when full in a 1987 or newer Ford pickup.
***This unit will NOT physically fit in the 16 gallon side, midship, front fuel tank (OEM metal style - approx. 40" long). No unit is available for that tank at this time.

This sending unit does NOT come with the "funnel filter." If your original filter is no longer useable, you will need to purchase a replacement filter. I now have an aftermarket supplier making this filter. Find the filter by checking out my eBay store using part # FMFF-1 or eBay # 371687982468. The OEM Part # for this filter is: E5TZ9J306BA.

****Ford offered an OEM plastic fuel tank that utilized a plastic/nylon threaded nut to secure the sending unit to the tank, this is NOT the correct sending unit for that application.

This part is covered by a One Year Manufacture Warranty. MTS Company, L.C. parts are warranted to the original purchaser for a period of one year from the date of purchase. We will replace any part shown within one year from the date of purchase to be defective in materials or workmanship. No other warranty is made or expressed or implied. Our liability shall be limited to the cost of replacing the part. No labor cost, loss, expense, or lost opportunity suffered or incurred by any person or entity directly or indirectly arising from the use of any of our products is included or covered by this warranty. The use of any part on a vehicle other than the model it was designed for voids this and any other warranty coverage. The use of any part on a vehicle other than the model it was designed for is neither recommended nor encouraged. Modifying any part voids this and any other warranty coverage. T-Rex Auto Parts will file a warranty claim on the customers behalf, but all warranty claims are approved or denied by MTS Company, L.C.
Payment
We accept all payment options offered by eBay including PayPal. We ship to the verified address specified with the payment. Payment must be received before any/all parts can ship. Once payment is received, your order will be processed, shipped and a tracking number will be provided through the eBay notification system.
Shipping
We ship via FedEx, UPS and USPS mail throughout the United States and International USPS shipping where available. If you utilize a PO Box for your mail, your PO Box address must be included with your order. FedEx, UPS cannot deliver to a PO Box so a physical address must also be included with your shipping information. If an order is returned to T-Rex Auto Parts due to an incorrect/insufficient/no such address (which is determined by USPS/FedEx not T-Rex Auto Parts), we will contact you for the correct address along with a Shipping Invoice to collect monies for the second attempt at shipping. Orders are processed and shipped Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.
*Our Free Shipping Offer is only valid in the 48 contiguous United States. If you need an order shipped outside the 48 contiguous United States, please use our shipping tab for the best shipping options. If our shipping tab does not offer an option to ship or it states shipping is still FREE, but you are outside the 48 contiguous states, a Shipping Invoice can/will be emailed to you for payment before the part will ship.
