This listing is for an authentic vintage piece of costume jewelry.  This is a pin or brooch with a retractable chain.  These were generally used for small mechanical pencils, or eyeglasses.    This pin is back marked KETCHAM & McDOUGALL EAST ORANGE NJ.  Closure is marked KETCHALL.    Brooch is 1" in diameter and is goldtone with engraved floral design.  Chain retratction and pin closure both work properly.   Mechanical pencil is 2-3/4" in length,  It shows loss of finish, and does not appear to be working.   Brooch or pin is in very good used condition.   Please refer to "Condition" above and photographs for more information. 

Brooch and pencil  will be plastic bagged, bubble wrapped, and boxed for shipping.
