You are bidding on brand new "early" 1973 Kawasaki z1 speedometer face plate in Kilometers, these face plates were found on Kawasaki z1 models from frame number 000001 to 004000 (this face plate has the location of the 20 slightly higher above the tac mark and the text is slightly different than the later 1973 face plate). The z1 models have very slight variation printing on every year so the face plates are year specific to the z1 models; the location of the "nd" print and other text differ for each year. This face plate is an identical copy to the original "EARLY" 1973 speedometer; it is a solid plastic face plate that is identical in size, color, and it even illuminates the same color at night ((this is not a cheep sticker this is an identical hard plastic face plate)). The detail and quality of the face plate is perfect and I guarantee you will be satisfied with the accuracy and quality of this face plate....
To put these face plates on you will have to take a part your gauge and install these face plates yourself, to do that you will need to peal back the chrome ring with a screwdriver or some kind or a sharp tool that can get under the chrome ring. The gauge will than come apart in two pieces. Next you will have pull the needle out, it is just pressed on to the gauge so just pull on it lightly or press up under it with a small screwdriver. Than unscrew the two Phillips screws and install the new face plate.
