If your bike's exhaust note is starting to sound louder or 'raspy', & if you are losing a little bottom end power, your silencer probably needs re- packing.
Re-packing should be carried out as per your bikes owner's manual, at manufacturers recommended intervals- typically 15-20 hours of use.
