Presented for your consideration is a cut-to-clear crystal brandy / cognac snifter in a lovely deep COBALT BLUE / ROYAL BLUE.  Cut into the mouth blown cupola are Xs, fans, hypotrochoid stars, grapes and leaves above a ring of six coin dots.  The short clear pulled stem leads down to a clear rayed base. 

 

This full lead (24% PbO) crystal hock-style snifter is a vintage German piece produced by F. X. Nachtmann Bleikristallwerke GmbH, Neustadt a. d. Waldnaab, Bavaria.  The pattern is called TRAUBE (Grape) and is probably the most sought-after traditional German crystal pattern.  It is in excellent condition.  There are no nicks, dings, chips, scratches nor repairs.  The base is marked with an etched letter N topped by a crown.
