All stones are 8.5 mohs, will keep their colour and will not fade over time. There is no official quality measurement for cz stones, but the quality is generally graded in A's by gem cutters, the higher the number of A's the higher the quality of the stone. Because of no offical grade, the only way to compare is to buy them and compare side by side because an AAA from one seller could be better than AAAAAAAA from another. A perfectly cut stone shows a hearts and arrows pattern when viewed under a hearts and arrows viewer. The more perfectly it is cut and polished and the higher the quality of the cz material, the better it looks and the more it sparkles, the quality is a measurement of how good the finished stone looks.

Hardness
is a measurement of how hard something is to scratch, it is not a
measurement of toughness and nearly all gemstones, including diamonds,
are brittle and can shatter. Gems are cut into delicate shapes with
sharp points, so if any cut gem is dropped onto a hard surface or hit
with a hammer it could shatter quite easily. When the gem is loose,
these points and edges are exposed, so care needs to be taken when
handling or setting any gem stone, once set in jewellery the points are
protected by the setting.
