Neck is as straight as 6 o'clock and nice easy play action. Ideal for slappin' and pickin' and all that rhythmical funk type playing. However don't underestimate the tonal range on this guitar because the Wilkinson WJMB-B high energy pick up is styled on the music man bass and if the guitar is turned full on through a stack, it can give an effect like an EARTHQUAKE.
