We are pleased to offer this Old Hickory American Provincial original arm chair. The 'American Provincial' design was introduced by Old Hickory in 1939 and was also refered to as 'Rustic Modern.' The chair features generous armrests and a low profile. It is marked 'Old Hickory Martinsville Indiana 6-50 (indicative of June 1950 production). It is constructed of solid oak and the cushions are covered with a textured orange vinyl which we believe is original . The vinyl has some areas of staining where it has been in contact with the wood for many years, but there are no tears or holes. The dimensions are: 29" tall x 34 1/4" wide x 34" deep. This vintage chair is pre-owned. The vinyl on the cushions appears to be original and shows some sun fading. The wood frame shows honest wear from use. There is one spot on the front right foot that has a chip (pictured). It is a heavy sturdy chair and the condition overall is excellent. Customer Promise: Your satisfaction is always guaranteed. Please check with us prior to bidding. We are a business location and can receive any size truck. We do not have a loading dock, but do have a forklift available.
