Product Description:

Listing Update...we've had some customers inquire about relative sizing between the two brands (Trek and Gary Fisher) of x-small gloves we have available. In response to these inquiries, we would say the Gary Fisher gloves appear a little smaller. The differences are not significant, as both glove models appear fairly true to size, but the Trek gloves appear slightly larger (and this comparison considers the entire glove sizing and not just the finger length...which is clearly longer with the Trek gloves given their 3/4 finger length design).

This offering is for a pair of Trek cycling gloves in size x-small. These are 3/4 length gloves (so slighly longer in the fingers) with nylon mesh backing that has a fair amount of elasticity and synthetic leather palms. We have taken some close-up pictures of the glove packaging, which provides a fairly good bullet point description of these gloves (so we won't repeat the entire description here...other than we found it interesting the manufacturer states the gloves are machine washable...albeit probably on extremely gentle cycles). Having said all of the above, please do keep in mind we only have these gloves in the x-small sizing, so they are too small for most adults, but probably worth a look for youths...especially at this price point (which we guess is probably half to a third of retail bikeshop pricing).

One other note...we are able to package these gloves in padded mailers that help keep the shipping weight down. As a result, our domestic customers are able to receive these gloves through USPS First Class service for a very affordable shipping charge (and international shipping rates are also fairly reasonable, especially to Canada).

Note to international customers regarding shipping...
We apologize to those that feel some of our international shipping charges are too high. We only charge actual shipping rates, but once an order exceeds a certain amount, we hesitate to use the least expensive US Postal Services First Class International service. We feel this way, because this service is not trackable or insurable...so more risk of loss. We prefer the US Postal Services Priority Mail International service for more expensive orders, because this service is trackable at USPS.com and insurable...so less risk of loss. Unfortunately, this service is more expensive, especially for smaller/lighter packages, relative to the First Class International service. We are sorry about these higher shipping costs, but hopefully our notes help to explain why this is the case.

Note to international customers regarding customs...
We also apologize to those that feel their country import taxes, duties and brokerage fees are excessive. As a small US business, we are required by customs' laws to declare each order as a retail sale. Additionally, the declared order value must be equal to total store purchases and/or winning auction bids (less any shipping costs, as these are not considered in the declared value). As a result, each customer will be responsible for paying his/her own country taxes, duties and brokerage fees, which will be collected upon delivery. Again, we apologize for these additional costs, but we cannot afford the penalties and fines that come with breaking customs' laws...so we have to strictly abide by them.
