Seiko Kinetic Watch Repair Service

Welcome to my Kinetic repair listing - we were the very first to offer this service here on eBay & have been happily keeping Kinetics alive for over a decade!! 

Each of the options is designed to recity a common problem you may be experiencing with your Kinetic Watch.

Below are descriptions of certain 'symptoms' to help to choose the right repair option, these are very important so please read them closely and then choose accordingly:

Options 2 & 3 if the second hand is still moving, even if erratically, this option is for you. If the watch has stopped and will the seconds hand move at all if gently shaken this is also the option for you.

Options 4 & 5 if the second hand no longer moves even if gently shaken this is your option. 

In all repair scenarios only brand new Seiko parts will be used & watches are resealed & pressure tested to manufacturers specifications.

Option 1: £39.99 Crystal Repair/Replacement

If the crystal on your watch has general wear and tear damage, has been chipped or smashed this is the option for you. Select 'Option 1' from the drop-down menu above, then complete the 'BUY IT NOW' process. We will then send you a message via eBay containing our postal address. It is then your responsibility to post your watch to us, using whichever method you see fit, we would recommend using a traceable/recorded method via Royal Mail. Once we receive your watch we will contact you to confirm receipt, carry out the work, check the watches systems over and then return the watch to you by Royal Mail Guaranteed Next Day Delivery. This service is fully trackable and offers insurance coverage of 'up to £2500'. This listing is for all round faced or circular crystal watches that need replacing, we can replace different shaped crystals but we would advise contacting us with your watches case number first to check availability.  We also offer quotations for upgrades to our super hard, scratch resistant Sapphire Crystals. Seiko models 5J22-0A50 & 5J22-0A20 are not covered by this offer without contacting us first.

Option 2: £54.99 Standard Capacitior Replacement or Upgrade.

If your watch is not 'holding a charge', or has the dreaded '2 second tick' this is the listing for you!!

Simply select 'Option 2' from the drop-down menu above, then complete the 'BUY IT NOW' process. We will then send you a message via eBay that contains our postal address. It is then your responsibility to post your timepiece to us, at your convenience, using whichever method you see fit, we would recommend using a traceable/recorded method via Royal Mail. Once we receive your watch we will contact you to confirm receipt, carry out the capacitor replacement/upgrade, then after checking the watches systems over and then return the fully serviced timepiece to you via Royal Mail Guaranteed Next Day Delivery. This service is fully trackable and offers insurance coverage of 'up to £2500'.

Option 3: £79.99 Capacitor & Crystal Replacement.

Simply put, this combines Options 1 & 2 but is £15 cheaper!!!! 

Seiko models 5J22-0A50 & 5J22-0A20 are not covered by this offer without contacting us first.

Option 4: £89.99 Complete Repair & Service Including New Capacitor.

If your watch appears completely dead and no matter how many times you gently shake it, the second hand will not move or tick this is your option - there are a few other common faults that occur with these movements & this option covers them all!!

Once you have selected 'Option 4' and completed the 'BUY IT NOW' process we will send you a message via eBay containing our postal address. It is then your responsibility to post it to us, at your convenience, using whichever method you see fit, we would recommend using a traceable/recorded method like Royal Mail. Once we receive your timepiece we will contact you to confirm receipt. We will then diagnose the problem with your watch, repair it using brand new Seiko parts and then fit the new capacitor. When your timepiece has been through our testing equipment and we are happy that everything is running as it should, we will return it to you using Royal Mail Guaranteed Next Day Delivery. This service is fully trackable and offers insurance coverage of 'up to £2500'.

Option 5: £99.99 Complete Repair & Service Including New Crystal

Options 1 & 4 combined but with a saving of £30!!

Seiko models 5J22-0A50 & 5J22-0A20 are not covered by this offer without contacting us first.

In the event that 'Option 2 or 3' is chosen, but the watch arrives needing 'Options 3 or 4' we will happily offer the customer the opportunity to increase their level of service. If this is declined the watch will be returned and a refund issued, with deductions to cover the return postage and packaging costs. 

For insurance purposes we record all work carried out.

As mentioned above, all our Upgrades and Repairs are carried out using Brand New Seiko Parts, and we reseal all casebacks using Seiko's own silicone sealing grease!
