Estate Find!

Looks just like a miniature version of the full size kitchen mixer that Mommy would have used!

Found at the home of an elderly woman who was a young child in the 1940s and 50s.  She kept all her toys and dolls from that era and lovingly treasured them all these years.  She obviously took very good care of her belongings because the treasures I purchased from her look as though they were hardly played with.  I am in the process of listing most of these items within my store (banheier's Cottage Collection), but a few items are being listed as auctions.  If you do a search within my store this week, you will find some very rare gems!  All from the 1940s & 50s!

WOW!!!  What a Very Rare find!!  Even comes with the original metal bowl!!  I can't find another toy mixer like it anywhere!

Displays beautifully!

Unfortunately, the batteries were left inside it for probably 50 or 60 years, so the battery compartment needs cleaning out.  See photo number 12 to see what I'm talking about.  I have not attempted to clean it, but will leave this up to the new owner.  Also, there is a tiny nut missing on the end of one of the metal mixer blades.  See close up photo number 11 to see what I'm talking about.   Otherwise, minor wear consistent with age and use.  This is SO adorable!!  See photos and description for more details.

Measures approximately 7 3/4 inches tall, 8 1/4 inches long and 5 1/2 inches wide.

Sure to bring back fond memories of days gone by.  Would make a great gift for the baker or vintage toy collector on your list.  Would look lovely displayed in a retro kitchen or restaurant.
