This striking and unusual stoneware match striker was made in the first part of the 20th century by Royal Doulton. It has a roughened surface in the shape of a beehive with two moulded bees and stands 5.5cm tall. Royal Doulton impressed to the base as well as the (makers?) initials 'gs' and the number '4430'. As you can see from the photos, it is in superb condition with no faults.
