• BLACK in Color with gold trim.
• The pen is in EXCELLENT condition with a minor scratch on the backside of the cap.
• The pen measures a HUGE  5 7/8" capped.
• This pen has been disassembled, cleaned, inspected, and tested 
• The pen is a PISTON FILLER.  It operates smoothly and hold lots of ink as it should
• It has PERFECT TRANSPARENCY to determine the amount of ink in the pen 
• The imprint on the rim of the pen cap states, "MONTBLANC, MEISTERSTUCK, NO 149".
• The imprint on the back of the clip states "W. GERMANY"
• The SEMI-FLEX Bi-Color 14K GOLD nib is MEDIUM in size and is inscribed  "4810, 14K, M <INSIDE SNOWFLAKE>, MONTBLANC, 585".
• Note the feed is the SPLIT EBONITE feed
• And the filler threads are brass
• Based on the Bi-color 14K Nib, 2 Part Barrel, Split Ebonte Feed, and Brass Filler Threads, I can date this pen to 1990--and only 1990 as this combination was made only for one year
