smooth mechanics

this is a Fabulous macro lens.  I think it is head and shoulders above the ARRI Macro 100.

This lens has zeiss glass inside.. the optics are sharp and the colors are neutral and true. the ARRI MACRO 100 uses a very cheap minolta prime which has a ton of red fringing in the image.

This lens goes to 1:1 reproduction.. 

the mechanics are smooth

the paint could be redone and the lens could use a service.  This lens is priced at a bargain compared to other vintage and modern macro lenses..   the ARRI MACRO 100 is 14-18,000 these days

this lens is VERY sharp on my collimator and makes a nice crisp image.. marks will  match up excellent
