- Rolex Submariner stainless steel timepiece. This 168000 was only made for 2 years and many think they are the sleeper of the Submariner world. They don’t come up for sale often and are rare to see. Conventional wisdom suggests that this was an experimental metal for Rolex. It is almost impossible to find one with box and papers. The papers rarely acknowledge the 168000 designation. Mr. Hess is often asked about what watch to invest in, and doesn’t like to answer, but often mentions this model being undervalued. Amazing find! Complete kit!
