CASE & STRAP: This watch has a stainless steel case which measures 38mm wide x 43.5mm long x 12.5mm thick. It has a uni-directional time elapse bezel, flat Sapphire crystal, signed screw down crown & threaded case back. This watch comes on a brand new black leather strap with white contrast stitching, to which we have fitted the original Breitling stainless steel pin buckle. The case has been fully stripped & run through the ultrasonic cleaner, subsequently this watch is crisp, clean & ready to wear!!! We have also vacuum pressure tested the case, so the winning bidder can rest assured that their watch meets the specified water resistance rating!!! DIAL & HANDS: This watch has a black metal dial with lume coated Arabic numeral hour markers, it has a white chapter ring on the dial perimeter & date aperture at 3. It has the Breitling wings logo at 12 & it is clearly signed Breitling 1884 500M/1650FT Colt Ocean & Swiss Made. This watch has silver dagger style hands, coated with green superluminova. Red tipped silver centre seconds hand. MOVEMENT: This watch has a Breitling calibre B64 jewelled precision Swiss quartz movement, which uses ETA 955.612 as its base calibre.   This movement is designed to run for 6-8 years before needing a new battery, & it is currently running strong & keeping good time. In 1914 Leon Breitling dies & the company is passed over to his son Gaston, a year later Gaston creates the first wrist chronograph, & subsequently provides pilots with the first wrist instruments. By 1923 Breitling had developed the first ever independent chronograph pushpiece.
