Up for sale here is an adorable and brand new, in the original packaging, Shopkins wild style Shoppet - these are the pets for the Lil' shoppie girl dolls and the shoppie dolls! They are adorable. They are all flocked and fuzzy and super nice. They are only available for a limited time and always missing from the shelves of all stores all the time.

It comes with an exclusive Shopkins that you can ONLY get by getting this set! It also includes a stand for your little pet (it's clear so be careful to not toss it with the packaging) and a collectors catalog or list sheet. She's really hard to find and highly sought after. These flocked fuzzy Shopkins pets (or Shoppets as they are called) are my daughters new favorites. They are so adorable.

I was lucky enough To get my hands on a few of these. Everywhere online it says these are 'out of stock' with no way to purchase! I went all over the city and on a major scavenger hunt looking for these and I only got them because I know someone who works at target and they helped me by holding them for me when they saw them come in. I had told them I was looking for these guys specifically. They had only a few of them and they were never even put out on the shelf. They went from being sealed and packed in the back stock room to me-and now hopefully- you!

So be the FIRST to get your hands on one!! I always ship out within 24 hours of payment and promise you'll get it crazy fast because it is in my possession!

Everything I sell is from a smoke free home.

I hope this can find a good home out there with another little munchkin :) I will combine shipping and give discounts for multiple purchases of anything I sell.

History

Shopkins was designed and developed by Moose Toys in Melbourne. Co-chief Paul Solomon credits his mother Jacqui Tobias, director of girls’ products, for the idea of Shopkins.[2] Moose Toys had success with their line of Trash Pack collectible figurines which were geared towards boys, but overall lacked a market for girls. Shopkins was produced initially as a similar product for girls—however, it appeals to both genders.[3][4]

Shopkins universe

Shopkins figurines are roughly 1 inch in height and 1 inch in width, roughly the size of a United States Quarter. Each figurine has a face and its own name. They are distributed in bright coloured packaging with bubble letters.[5]Shopkins are based on grocery items such as a sweet apple named Apple Blossom, a chocolate bar named Cheeky Chocolate, a lipstick named Lippy Lips, and a chocolate chip cookie named Kooky Cookie.[6][7]

There are hundreds of Shopkins in the Shopkins World.[8] Shopkins are organized into categories such as Sweets or Bakery. Shopkins are collected and traded based on their rarity. Moose toys classifies the Shopkins degrees of rarity as Common, Exclusive, Limited Edition, Rare, Special Edition, and Ultra Rare.[9]

Books

Moose Toys launched a series of children's books about Shopkins including Scholastic's Shopkins: Welcome to Shopville.[10]

Collector cards

Moose Toys released their first trading card set in 2015.

Shopkins video

An animated film called Shopkins: Chef Clubwas released on DVD October 25, 2016 by Universal Pictures Home Entertainment to promote the sixth season of Shopkins toys. The movie was well received and became a Shopkins fan favorite with great reviews.[11]

In August 2014, Moose Toys built brand awareness with their Shopkins short cartoon videos on their YouTube channel Shopkins world,[3] but it was the YouTube videos of consumers unwrapping and playing with the toy that helped bring the line to mainstream prominence.[12][13]

Shopkins Direct

As of May 2017, CultureFly LLC., a licensee of Shopkins/Moose Toys, began offering a subscription box with exclusive Shopkins accessories and merchandise.[14] Shopkins Direct is described as a quarterly/seasonal subscription service, featuring accessories, apparel, and other exclusive merchandise featuring Shopkins characters. Additionally, exclusive Shopkins have been distributed via the pop-up chain stores around North America. Such contents include but are not limited to: plushies, lip balm, and limited-edition Shopkins such as Cupcake Queen and Lynne Spring.

Media

Shopkins served as inspiration for a design challenge on season 16 of Project Runway.

"Girls will enter a big world of pint-sized fun with Shopkins™, the new line of super cute, super tiny, grocery-themed collectibles from Moose Toys!
