The direct descendant of the unique 402 with solid silver trims, the 300 collection, produced between 1995-96, consists of a complete range of writing instruments. Comprising of the classic fountain pens, ball pens and mechanical pencil. It is done in lustrous finishes and sterling silver.
The upper barrel is of a modern resin type material in various shades of green in swirled marble effect. It is marked "Montegrappa Italy 925" around silver cap ring. Silver end screw is marked "1912". The lower barrel is solid silver with a pinstripe marking and "1055 M, 925" marked around top. mechanism works very smoothly and is fitted with its original refill but I cannot guarantee its longevity. This sale pen measures only 106mm in length and 9mm wide. I can honestly say that this is probably the best ballpoint pen that I have ever owned!
