B-24 Liberator aircraft sporting superb nose art, a B-24J serving with the 64th
Bombardment Squadron (BS), 43rd Bombardment Group (BG), 5th Air Force (AF), a
B-24D serving with the 374th BS, 308th BG, 14th AF, a B-24M serving with 759th
BS, 459th BG, 15th AF, a B-24M Pathfinder serving with the 704th BS, 44th BG,
8th AF, a B-24J serving with the 33rd BS, 22nd BG “Red Raiders”, 5th AF and a
formation B-24D serving with the 703rd BS, 445th BG, 8th AF.
Includes
Black and Yellow bureau numbers, Grey and Black aircraft codes for the
fuselage, superb nose art in the form of White “COCKTAIL HOUR” titles alongside
a reclining nude wearing a top hat with a large cocktail glass against a city

and mission markings and data blocks. Note that data/stencils and Stars and
Bars or Yellow bordered Operation Torch Star roundels will need to come from
the kit.
There are
sufficient decals to complete all six B-24 Liberator aircraft taking
account the comments above using either Stars and Bars or Star roundels where
appropriate. The 43rd BG, the 459th BG and the 446th BG B-24’s are all finished
in natural metal overall, the 446th BG also has Red cowl bands. The 308th BG
and the 22nd BG B-24’s are finished in Olive Drab uppers over Neutral Grey
lowers, with unit identification markings, described above, provided as decals
on the sheet. The formation B-24 is finished in wide vertical bands of Dark
Blue and Yellow over all aircraft surfaces – see image within the links below.
