Here is a battery powered 'Thomas the Tank engine'  and the carriages Annie and Clarabel  train by Tomy.

They are made from plastic with metal axles,  They all have a link on the back so they can pull other carriages on the track or on the floor etc. Thomas works on 1AA battery   and there is a on/off switch on the top of the back drivers compartment.

The carriages are simply pulled along by Thomas.

Thomas measures 4.5inch long by 1.5 inch wide by 2 inch tall. Annie and Clarabel  measure 4 inch long by 2 inch long by 1.5 inch wide.
