Echeveria ‘Neon Breakers’ is one of the newer Echeveria hybrids
from the USA, produced by a lady who is growing some remarkable new plants. It looks to have Echeveria Shaviana as one of
the parents and the main feature is the bright pink edge to the wavy
leaves. We have two larger plants in the
collection and this bright pink edge looks superb in good light. We don’t plan to propagate this one as it has
a ‘plant patent’ but just have a few plants directly from the grower in
California. The best description is to
see the photo of the plant on offer, measuring 7cms across. The pink edge is brighter than shown on the
photo.
This plant needs direct sun and will become more open if in the
dark for too long when in the post. It
will soon recover when back in the sun. It is the plant in the photo.
- They like to grow in a bright spot preferably in full sun. They are not frost hardy, water when
dry, about every two weeks. Keep dry during the winter.
- Post and packing in the UK is £3.90
flat rate for any number of plants.
We only charge the actual cost of postage and packing materials.
- Postage to Europe
is £9.50 and we use Priority Recorded Post with signature on receipt,
postage for extra plants is another 40p each.
- Sorry but we can’t post outside Europe as Phytosanitary and CITES permits are too
expensive and take weeks to obtain.

- The plant will be sent ex pots and posted
first class and well packed. On receipt pot into free draining compost, we
suggest a mix of two parts good quality John Innes soil based compost to
one part coarse grit. Use fairly shallow pots, most cacti and succulents
are not deep rooted.
- Payment is best made by Paypal as it is speedy
and secure.
- The plant will be sent within a few days of receipt of payment. If they have been recently watered a few
days are necessary to allow it to dry before posting.
- We've
been growing cacti and succulents since 1975 and regularly give talks at
BCSS branch meetings and judge cactus shows during the summer. If you're
not a member of the British Cactus & Succulent Society, have a look at their website, most
branches have regular monthly meetings and there's always a warm welcome
for prospective new members.
