The Custom Pro 20 mil PVC Pond Liner and Underlayment Combo Kit makes installing your own backyard pond easy! It can be used in any kind of water feature, including one with fish and/or aquatic plants. In fact, the PVC (polyvinyl chloride) pond liner is designed for ponds and water gardens with the safety of aquatic life in mind. The liner is 100 percent plant and fish friendly. The liner is manufactured in 5 or 10 foot panels and therefore may include factory installed seams for most sizes. This PVC pond liner's black color provides a natural look and the illusion of greater water depth. Highly flexible, this 20 mil pond liner is much more durable than cheap 14 mil "Pond Skin" liner commonly sold. Superior flexibility allows you to fit this 20 mil liner to the various contours of your water feature. Tip: Always cover your liner with soil and stone to protect it from UV light, create a more natural look and ensure years and years of service! 

The non-woven geotextile underlayment protects your pond liner, helping to prevent damage that could require repairs. It increases puncture resistance over 500% compared to PVC used without underlayment! Place the underlayment on top of the soil to guard the pond liner against sharp objects, roots and burrowing animals.

PLEASE NOTE: Because we are an outdoor facility, your liner may arrive with some minor dirt/dust markings from rain splashing, however we guarantee it is brand new and has never been used!

What size do you need?

To determine the size of liner and underlayment needed for your project, use the following formulas: 

(Max Length of Pond) + (2 x Max Depth of Pond)) + 1 = Length of Liner/Underlayment Needed
(Max Width of Pond) + (2 x Max Depth of Pond)) + 1 = Width of Liner/Underlayment Needed

It is always a good idea to have an additional foot of material on both the length and width of the liner and underlayment (represented by + 1 in the formulas). This allows room for error and also provides an overhang to secure the materials properly.
