First Printing of this 2 volume set, both quarter bound in red leather & red marbled boards. Raised spine hubs
with lettering in gilt. 8vo size, 457 & 648 pages. Text in French. A Very Good X-Library set. Red leather
is lightly rubbed at corners and seams. White painted reference numbers to spines. Has library
bookplate on front endpapers. Rear fly leafs have old card pockets. Both volumes have
bar code tags on rear endpapers. Has a blind stamp on title page of volume one.
Contents have moderate spots of foxing. A few passages have been
underlined in text. Overall a clean, tight set.
