Karin Schaefers and her family were victims of the Holocaust.  They were placed in a concentration camp and Karin was the only survivor.  She escaped to Brooklyn, New York where she studied art.  She eventually married and Italian sculpture and they have a son.   They reside in New York.

Illinois residents will be charged 10% sales taxes. Returns are accepted only if item does not match description. I will not accept returns if buyer changed his mind or realized that he does not need the item. Customer has to file a claim to post office if item was insured and was broken during shipping. International Buyers: I will be happy to ship item to any country of the world. You have two shipping options: if item is less than 4 lbs in weigh: First Class International or Priority Mail. First class is less expensive but it does not come with tracking number. I will not be responsible if item will be lost in shipping if you will choose First Class option.
