Hopea burl (Hopea Odorata) Oringin: Southeast Asia.
AKA =  white thingan, golden hopea, stone hopea.

The sapwood is pale yellow or greyish yellow turning pale brown on exposure
heartwood is tan-yellowish to light green-brown to brownish red, sometimes with dark streaks turning purplish on exposure, with lustrous white resin canals at irregular intervals resembling rock/gem stones.
The wood is very hard and heavy weighing 1000-kg/cu m.
Because of the hardness of this species, it makes a perfect knife handles and pistol grips. Also good for carving and turning.
Local people prefer this over teak to build boats and marine-products as it is durable and water resistant. Other uses include outdoor funiture and lamp post, over all an excellent wood to work with.

Sanded and sealed to protect the wood. This stock is in various stages of drying and may not be fully dry...
