The book of Hosea in the Bible tells two parallel stories, both dealing with unconditional love. First is the story of the prophet Hosea, whose wife betrays him. He is angry at first, but later forgives her. The second story is that of God, who is betrayed by the people of Israel. Like Hosea, God is at first angry, but later forgives his people.

The Bible - Hosea Geocoin is the first in a series of 66 designs. There will be one design for each book of the Bible. Each design will be limited to a total of 500 trackable geocoins and then no more coins in that design will ever be produced. However, additional non-trackable coins (i.e. not geocoins) will be released under the Heaven's Relics brand with different markings stamped on the edge.

In order to maintain continuity over the 66 designs, there will be three editions (color schemes) that will be repeated for all of the designs. These three repeated editions will be:
