The "Banjara" (also called Lambanis) embroidery style is specific to the nomad community in the states of Rajasthan & Gujarat in Western India. The stitch used is petite-point & extremely tiny cross-stitch & running stitch is used. Every single inch of the cloth is covered in this very fine embroidery of vibrant colors. Mirrors, wood beads and Cowrie Shell Tassels are added to produce an exuberant effect.
