PLEASE READ:  I offer High Quality items at rock bottom prices and have learned as a seller just how much $ and  time I invest in listing, selling, buying, sorting, storing, and data entry. Add in the costs of shipping supplies:  boxes, bags, bubble wrap, mailers, tape, markers, batteries for the camera, and trips to post office ($4 /GAL for gas!).  Then add in eBay’s high fees, which keep going up (a full 40% of my net sales goes just to pay my eBay and PayPal fees!!).  Still we are here for great buys & bargains.  The USPS raised shipping rates TWICE this past year!  In the past I have taken the hit, but I can no longer absorb these costs and in turn have no choice but to pass them along to the consumer this time.   Buyers:  PLEASE give sellers a break; they invest a lot of time, $ and stress, just trying to be fair, without giving items away.  You also deserve to be treated fairly.  Where else can you sell, shop, and buy what you want from the comfort of your own home?  So please do not nickel-and-dime me to death, and note that “cherry pickers” are not welcome.  You can pay full price in a brick-and-mortar outlet for that privilege.  Thanks for reading this and understanding my position!  Be sure to read all of my terms below.

All of my items come from a non-smoking and pet-free environment.

As a general disclaimer, many of my books may have a remainder mark on them, or they may be book club editions. Other items, like audio tapes, videos, and box kits, may have a cut or black line across the UPC symbol.  On some, the shrink-wrap may be coming loose.  Email for detailed specifics on the item you are interested in if you have any concerns, and I will examine the item and report back to you. I am very busy and often forgetful so if you do not hear from me within a day please email me again as a reminder.  My memory is not good any more so oversights do happen accidentally but never intentionally.

All of my items are new unless noted in the description. I do my best to describe all items accurately and honestly. Some books may have minor imperfections from storage and transportation such as small scratches or dings and some will have remainder marks on the bottom of the book but major flaws are noted in the auction description, usually with the description of Imperfect. Major flaws are defined as box cutter cuts, large tears on book jackets, squashed boxes, and torn pages etc. and are usually listed as Clearance or Mark down items because of these flaws.  If you are the kind of person who likes to “cherry-pick” the best copy in the book store, please do not buy from me.  Instead go to your local retail outlet and pay full price.  My books typically sell for half of the typical retail price, and although I am picky myself, I believe that a minor imperfection such as a remainder mark is a small price to pay for getting a book at about half price. Also, Imperfect and inventory Clearance Items:  Sales are final, no return and no refund.

If the dust jacket  on a book is important to you please check with me first before you bid to make sure the book in fact does have a dust jacket and remind me again when you pay, as often they have slight tears or imperfections or they may be missing. Again, re-read the above about cherry pickers. Many times after selling out of my copies with dust jackets, I reorder and the new lot does not come with the dust jacket, but I have used the same old listing.   

Shipping & Handling amounts & combined shipping discounts are subject to change at any time as the USPS raises its rates.  Look for the information on the listing page as outlined above or the home page of my store regarding discounts, and if you can't find it, email me. 

If you are paying for multiple items, they MUST be made on ONE  PayPal invoice to get combined shipping.  Please WAIT for the invoice so that I do not have to hassle with a refund - in fact, my general policy is that I do NOT refund excess shipping charges paid. (Instead, I often include an extra item for free).  Just let me know when you are done shopping and use the Ask Seller for Total link from your shopping cart.  Please do not pay first for everything and then ask for a refund on shipping in case you paid before waiting for my adjusted invoice as I will add on a service charge for that adjustment.  EBay’s checkout system usually does not give the right amount for shipping charges (usually way too high).

I am not responsible for wrong or undeliverable addresses.  Buyer will be responsible for additional shipping costs in the case of wrong or undeliverable addresses.

PAYMENT:  eBay now only allows managed paymentsl unless there is local pick up.  Please pay within 3 days of purchase. Unpaid item reminders are sent out automatically after 3 days for ALL buyers so please do not take it personally. You must use a confirmed shipping address to receive delivery confirmation. Sorry, NO personal checks.  Many states are now charging sales tax, which eBay automatically calculates and collects.

TRACKING  - Where is your package?   Tracking information is now available on each buyer’s  “My eBay” Summary page so look there first.   PLEASE check there or on the "Order Details" link in the ended auction and postal links which appear there before e-mailing me to ask when it was mailed.  You should receive an automatically generated email when I print your label, which will include a tracking number through USPS for media mail.  Your delivery usually takes 4 to 9 business days continental US, but occasionally can take up to 2 weeks or longer, especially to the East Coast from where I live in the Pacific North West.  Alaska, Hawaii, PR and APO/FPO addresses may take 3-5 weeks in shipment.  Please also remember that you paid for Media shipping, which is cheap but not an expedited service. 

MEDIA SHIPPING RATE- This is the way that most books, CD's, DVDs, and tapes are mailed. It is sometimes slow and can be as slow as 2 weeks or longer for domestic packages, but usually 4 to 9 business days. This is the standard method of shipment unless you upgrade to Priority Mail for a substantial increase in cost.

PROMPT SHIPMENT- Shipment is almost always made within 24 hours of receiving payment. I often am able to ship the same day.  I will do everything to get your item(s) to the Post Office as soon as I can, usually the same or next day when after payment is received.  HOWEVER,  I do not control how the USPS fulfills their part of this transaction.  I can not be responsible for delays of the USPS, especially around the holidays.

RETURN  POLICY:   Occasionally an item may slip by with a slight defect I did not notice.  Contact me within 30 days of receipt for money back or exchange.  If I no longer have the same item, I will give you store credit or cash refund.  Read the listing fully and carefully & look at pre-filled item specifics.  I'm not responsible for your inability to read or change your mind, but am flexible and willing to work with you for our mutual satisfaction.  More time is allowed during Christmas holidays.  If the items are not as described, I will give a full refund including return postage, or a partial refund with the items kept (You must contact me first before returning items!).  If the item is as described but you are unhappy with it because you made a mistake in selection or did not read the entire listing and received a product with a remainder mark, I will try to work with you.  Read the listing very carefully and look at the pre-filled item specifics.  I am not responsible for your inability to read the listing, but I am flexible and willing to work with you to insure customer satisfaction. Special Notes for International Buyers:

I'm sorry but I no longer give shipping quotes for outside the United States.   In spite of my warning that shipping typically runs 3 - 4 times the stated US cost, too many people ask and never reply back and I am frustrated with the waste of my time when no sale occurs.  I am not to blame for the outrageous price of postage for international mailings.  If you live outside the USA and still want to buy my items, look on the listing page in the pre-filled item specifics box and find the weight of the item, then go to the USPS website and follow the links to calculate international shipping from the USA to your destination country, add $3.00 handling charge for the packaging, inconvenience and paperwork and need to take the package into the post office and stand in line for an agent.  If the item is listed as a Lot of books, see if you can find the weight of one of the items and then estimate the total.
