About the Artist: Hermes Payrhuber is an Austrian born artist, living and working in Bushwick, Brooklyn. His reputation of being an artist's artist has been proven repeatedly over the last years through the acquisition of his work for many d public and private collections. Payrhuber's work has been part of many exhibitions at museums and galleries in Europe and the United States including the Museum of Contemporary Art/21er Haus Belvedere Museum, Vienna; Sue Scott Gallery, New York; Dallas Museum of Art; Kioskshop Gallery, Berlin; and James Kelly Contemporary, Santa Fe. He was awarded a grant by the Pollock-Krasner Foundation in 2008. The Museum of Modern Art, PS1 Museum invited him to present his book THINGUMMY in 2013.
