These sliders are made of aircraft quality 6061 billet aluminum. They are manufactured to precise tolerances using Computer Aided Machining, and then Micro polished to a smooth mirror finish. Each slider measures approximately 4" long, and 1-3/4" in diameter, and the bolt is 10mm.
Compatibility:
This set of sliders will fit on a 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, or 2007 Suzuki SV1000. These sliders bolt into the lower forward engine mount, replacing the existing bolts.
Installation Instructions: If you do not have the optional lower fairings installed, No Fairing cutting is necessary! If you do have those fairings, then you must cut them to mount the sliders. Find the engine mount locations where the sliders fit. They are made for a specific location. They will only fit in one place, and in one orientation. These sliders mount onto the lower forward engine mount point. Remove one engine bolt, and replace it with one frame slider and included bolt. Remove the other engine mount bolt, and replace with the other frame slider and included bolt. It's just that easy. The torque on the slider bolts should not exceed 20-25 foot-pounds, with locktite on the threads.
