Kodak Six-16 Model C Art Deco Folding Camera

KS 12cm Anastigmat 4.5 Lens

One of the rarer British made Kodak folders I think. Fast lens for this time, and an AGC Gauthier shutter!

In well used condition,
Case shows wear to leatherette, generally intact, signs of use/wear to body. some ares where paint is breaking down, ding to one side, some wrinkles in metal, see pics.

Standard is good & solid. Focus is good, shutter fires on all speeds, self timer works well.
Aperture works well, does show oil but still works.
Lens shows some haze, no scratches or fungi I can see.

Inside there is a mask glued in place. converts from 6*9 to 6*4.5 by the look of it, it looks home made.

Bellows look in a poor state,

Viewfinder nice & clean.

Weight for postage 1000g

Unusual & quite a rare Camera in this configuration.

Tatty case included.

Spares repair no returns sorry.

Any Questions please ask.

If you cant pay, or dont want the item. Then resist the temptation to Bid!
Its as easy as that!

Look at my Feedback.
I sell a lot of used Cameras,
Some old some not so old.
Lenses are designed for taking Photographs!
Not for shining torches through.
Dont expect to see crystal clear optics if you shine a torch through an old lens!
You will see internal reflections/ghosting etc.

If you want perfection. Buy a new one.....

If you are worried about using scratched or flawed lenses, coating marks, or even ones with fungi read this article on Zeiss Lenses by Henry Scherer
on the Zeiss repair Web page http://www.zeisscamera.com/services_lens.shtml
Interesting!

Fungi needs warm humid conditions to propagate. Keep your kit dry,
Dont store your gear in its mangy old case for extended periods. This is a sure fire way to encourage fungi!
Fungi needs food to grow, this " food" is the old Petroleum based lubricants in old lenses.
Newer lenses use Synthetic lubricants. Fungi does not like this.
See the above web page for a more in depth article on Lens contamination!
