Fabulous fine quality art nouveau style silver bowl with deep round bellied shape with decorative raised seam panels and set on four ornate cast feet formed as lion paws with acanthus leaf detail to the terminals. The walls flare out to a lobed shaped rim with fine pierced border of flowers and leaves. Hallmarked for Birmingham 1911, makers Mappin & Webb.

It measures 4 3/8" (11cm) high and 6 5/8" (17cm) wide and weighs 477g/15.3ozt.

Condition is excellent. There has been a professional repair to a small section of the filigree work. Surface wear is very light and good for age and use and hallmarks are fine and clear.
